DhanSaathi by JouleMart – Program and Wallet Terms & Conditions

Welcome to DhanSaathi, a unique loyalty and rewards program by JouleMart Ecomtech Pvt. Ltd. (“JouleMart”, “Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) designed exclusively for professional wiremen and electricians in India.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and participation in the DhanSaathi Program (“Program”) and your use of the integrated DhanSaathi by JouleMart Wallet (“Wallet”). By registering for the Program or using the Wallet, you (“User”, “Participant”, “You”, “Your”) agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other guidelines we may issue from time to time. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
- Program: The DhanSaathi loyalty program, which allows registered wiremen to earn rewards.
- User/Participant: A professional wireman or electrician, resident in India, who has successfully registered for the Program.
- JouleMart Products: Electrical goods and materials manufactured, marketed, or sold under the JouleMart brand or its affiliate brands.
- Authorised Dealer/Distributor: A seller officially recognised and authorised by JouleMart to sell JouleMart Products.
- Wallet: The closed-loop digital wallet, “DhanSaathi by JouleMart Wallet”, integrated within the Program’s mobile application, used to credit and store Rewards.
- Rewards: The value credited to the User’s Wallet in the form of cashback, bonuses, or other promotional benefits. This value is denominated in Indian Rupees (₹), where 1 Reward Point = ₹1, unless specified otherwise.
- Gamification: Promotional activities within the app, such as ‘Spin the Wheel’ or other games of chance or skill, that allow Users to earn additional Rewards.
2. Eligibility and Registration
2.1. Eligibility: Participation in the DhanSaathi Program is open only to individuals who are: * Legal residents of India. * At least 18 years of age. * Practicing professional wiremen or electricians. JouleMart reserves the right to request proof of profession at any time.
2.2. Registration: To join, you must download the official DhanSaathi mobile application and complete the registration process. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, including your full name, mobile number, and any other details requested.
2.3. Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (like your password and OTP). You agree to notify JouleMart immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
3. Earning Rewards
Rewards can be earned through the following methods, as determined by JouleMart:
3.1. Registration Bonus: A one-time, non-transferable Reward may be credited to your Wallet upon successful registration and verification. The amount and availability of the Registration Bonus are at the sole discretion of JouleMart and are subject to change without notice.
3.2. Product Purchase Cashback: * Users can earn cashback by purchasing designated JouleMart Products from Authorised Dealers. * To claim cashback, the User must scan the unique QR code, barcode, or enter the unique serial number found on the product packaging using the DhanSaathi app. * The cashback amount for each product will be specified within the app or on the product packaging. * JouleMart reserves the right to verify the purchase through invoice copies, dealer confirmation, or other means. Falsified claims will lead to immediate account suspension.
3.3. Gamification: * Users may participate in Gamification features like ‘Spin the Wheel’ to earn additional Rewards. * Participation in such games may be limited (e.g., once per day, or upon completing a specific action). * The outcome of any game of chance is determined by a random algorithm. The result displayed in the app is final and binding. * JouleMart reserves the right to introduce, modify, or discontinue any Gamification feature at any time.
4. The DhanSaathi by JouleMart Wallet
4.1. Nature of the Wallet: The Wallet is a closed-loop instrument. The value stored in the Wallet is issued by JouleMart Ecomtech Pvt. Ltd. and can only be used for redemption as per the options provided by JouleMart. It is not a bank account, and the balance does not accrue any interest.
4.2. Crediting Rewards: All earned Rewards (bonuses, cashback, etc.) will be credited to your Wallet. JouleMart will make reasonable efforts to credit Rewards promptly, but we are not liable for any processing delays.
4.3. Redemption of Wallet Balance: * Users can redeem the accumulated balance in their Wallet through the options made available within the DhanSaathi app. These may include, but are not limited to: * Bank Account Transfer (via NEFT/IMPS) * UPI Transfer * Purchase of e-vouchers from partner brands. * Redemption is subject to minimum balance requirements, which will be specified in the app. * Processing fees may be applicable for certain redemption methods, which will be disclosed at the time of the transaction. * You are responsible for providing accurate bank account or UPI details. JouleMart is not liable for transfers made to an incorrect account due to user error.
4.4. Restrictions: * The Wallet balance cannot be withdrawn as physical cash. * The Wallet balance is non-transferable to other DhanSaathi users. * The Wallet cannot be used to pay for goods or services outside the redemption options provided by JouleMart.
4.5. Expiry of Wallet Balance: The Rewards credited to your Wallet shall be valid for a period of 365 days (1 year) from the date they are credited. Any unused balance will automatically expire and be forfeited after this period.
5. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct
5.1. You agree to use the Program and Wallet in good faith and in accordance with all applicable laws.
5.2. You shall not: * Create multiple accounts or use any fraudulent means to earn Rewards. * Use any automated system, bot, or script to interact with the app or its Gamification features. * Attempt to scan a single product code multiple times or use codes from products you have not personally purchased. * Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Program’s infrastructure. * Share, sell, or trade your account.
Violation of these obligations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and forfeiture of all accumulated Rewards.
6. Modification and Termination of the Program
JouleMart Ecomtech Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or terminate the DhanSaathi Program, or these Terms, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, with or without prior notice. In the event of Program termination, we will provide a reasonable period for Users to redeem their existing Wallet balance, as required by law.
7. Data Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. All personal information collected from you will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and software associated with the DhanSaathi Program and JouleMart are the exclusive intellectual property of JouleMart Ecomtech Pvt. Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
9. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer
The Program and Wallet are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. JouleMart makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Program or the accuracy of the information.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JouleMart shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Program, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the total value of the Rewards accumulated in your Wallet in the six (6) months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JouleMart Ecomtech Pvt. Ltd., its directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Program.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
